While I was running for Governor I expanded on a program I had started four years earlier; workdays. The now 408 jobs with the people of Florida and America, gave me a deeper appreciation of the life of our people, hundreds of ideas which I could take back to Tallahassee or Washington and thousands of new friends. However, most importantly was learning the difference between learning by lecture and learning by actually doing the job.
